How it Works

You can help a small museum, historic site or non-profit (archive, library, community centre, charity, place of worship) by donating collections care products that they can use or resell. There is no shipping cost for these donations, since we only list institutions that sell our products in their gift shop. To donate, simply

1. Go to our shop …
2. Place an item in your shopping cart …
3. Enter the address of an organization on the list below as the shipping destination …
4. Be sure to indicate free shipping, to avoid the fees.

We’ll take care of the rest. Thanks for taking a few minutes to help us sustain Canada’s non-profits. If you donate $50 or more we can acknowledge you as a sponsor on Slow Ottawa.

If you’d like to see our products at an institution near you, and to have a chance to donate to them,  please send them a link to this page, and a note indicating that you’d like to donate. If you’re a museum administrator who would like to get on the list, please let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements. Vendors of our products receive 25% of the profits from each sale and eligibility for the donation service.
